  • Operating Partners

    The Operating Partners create the instruments and ensure the development of activities at the various stages of the Project. These are partners with proven expertise in the area of intergenerational learning or innovative entrepreneurship, providing support, advice and sharing expertise for the development of project activities.

    Dissemination is provided in partnership with the La Caixa Foundation (Spain) and with the Beth Johnson Foundation (United Kingdom) that, in both countries, represent strategic platforms for efficient dissemination of the Project.




  • Strategic partners

    Strategic partners advise and facilitate the development of Project activities and support the preparation of recommendations and the scaling of the results. They follow Project activities by supporting the scheduling of activities and by defining procedures for monitoring the Project.




  • External Assessor

    The UAW Project also includes an external assessor, Dinâmia’CET-IUL, whose role is to assess the intermediate and final results of the Project. The Dinâmia'CET-IUL - Research Centre on Socioeconomic Change and Territory, of ISCTE-IUL, aims to develop research and studies on the processes of social change, economic and territorial cohesion, an interdisciplinary perspective, and compared with and in European and international context.

This Programme is supported by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Solidarity PROGRESS (2007 - 2013). This programme is implemented by the European Commission and created to financially support the execution of the European Union's goals in the field of employment, social issues and equality of opportunities, thus contributing to achieve the goals of Estratégia Europa 2020 in these areas. The seven years Programme targets anyone interested who can help shape the development of adequate and effective employment, as well as legislation and social policies, in all EU-28, EFTA / EEA countries and countries applying and pre-applying for the EU.
