The Project United At Work supported the co-creation of entrepreneurial projects which address needs of the sectors of social action and health, culture and heritage. These projects were developed by intergenerational teams made up by youth and seniors who registered individually in the Intergenerational Entrepreneurship Programme.
The Programme enabled the formation of teams, trained participants in the critical areas of entrepreneurship and supported the development of products and services with a view to creating joint enterprises.

At the end of the Programme, publicly on 30th of June, 2015, 19 finalist projects were operational.

The Project + EU DESENVOLVIMENTO HUMANO is an innovative way of addressing health issues affecting young people, the elderly and the disabled. With the help of a young, specialized team it aims to combat sedentary childhood lifestyles, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, excess weight, among others, through sports and fitness, nutrition and psychology.

The À CARTA Project is an artistic "agency" that engages with partners through unique performances with new artists in the areas of dance, theatre, music, circus, the visual arts and stand-up comedy in a site-specific show concept that involves the presentation of performances chosen by the public from a performative menu.

Access@Portugal aims to be a new company operating in Portugal in the market of accessible tourism, for people with reduced mobility. The company's goal is to provide the opportunity to all who want to explore our country, our people and our ways, ensuring perfectly accessible, safe and enjoyable tourist programmes for all who travel with Access@Portugal.

AICT is a company providing services in the area of management, accounting, auditing, taxation and information technologies that has as its mission the optimization of its customers’ business. One of the differentiating factors of this project is the "360° vision" in the analysis of its customers’ business in order to propose a more integrated solution, better adjusted to the optimization of the business.

Cais dos Aventureiros aims to create cultural dynamics with the community by creating an interplay of values between culture, communication and cooperation through the development of different activities which enable the creation of new opportunities for third parties and stimulate its area of intervention.

Coolture intends to offer an integrated and digital solution for the promotion and dissemination of events of a cultural and leisurely nature, through the web-based platform of one app, which allows for the production and interactive management of the contents by promoters and also an easy and customizable access for the users.

The Escola Vale 1 Euro Project aims to contribute to the education of responsible, independent and solidary young people, knowledgeable of their rights and duties, by dialogue and in respect for others, encouraging them to build a society based on human rights, namely on the values of equality, democracy and social justice.

EstarCom (to be with) is a network that aims to provide emotional and psychological support for health care givers, safety/security professionals and others, who play a care giving/protective role on behalf of citizens. These professionals work directly and intensely with people in distress. Often caregivers feel vulnerable, get sick, and do not ask for help for fear that somehow this may adversely affect their professional life.

The Idade Ilustre project aims to fight disability and/or isolation and create affective, social, cultural and environmental value through a customized and individualized service according to customer’s needs by eliminating barriers, promoting the exchange of knowledge and sharing experiences, presenting solutions that live up to your expectations.

The Last Minute Culture Project was born to answer a need of promoters of shows and events, that of selling the last available tickets, reaching the maximum occupancy of their rooms and the consequent profitability of the business.

MAU – Manobra de Ativação Urbana [Urban Activation Manoeuvre] proposes the lease of vacant living spaces, located in central areas of Lisbon. The lease is proposed to the owner for a period of time which tends to be extensive, but varies depending on the state of the property and on the cost of the necessary recovery works. All redevelopment will be the responsibility of MAU and at the end of the contract the improvements will become property of the landlord.

The PROJ-Saúde-lx Project is based on telemedicine as a solution able to contribute to improving access to health care and reducing costs through a black box that is based on an innovative and efficient technological platform, which will solve the limitations of current obsolete telemedicine systems with quality and at affordable prices.

The Raízes project [Roots] is an innovative proposal which affords people the opportunity of enjoying a green landscaped space, with organic, ecological and sustainable purpose, that guarantees the existence of a location where people can deposit cremation ashes by an indigenous tree.

The Segunda Opportunidade Project [Second Chance] aims to establish itself as a contribution in addressing the problems posed by the circumstances of people whose working life is over. The project aims to contribute to increase personal empowerment, social relations, maintaining the freedom, independence and decision-making capacity of users, improve quality of life and housing conditions in a healthy lifestyle, increase the self-esteem of the Elderly and fight all age-related discrimination.

Crisálida Saúde [Chrysalis Health] aims to bridge the gap posed by the lack of community solutions concerning the follow-up of adults with mental health problems, and palliative care needs. It aims to offer integrated health care programmes and social support, aimed at adults with stabilized chronic mental illness, which aim to promote their quality of life.

Take Care aims to provide new experiences and possibilities to people suffering from social isolation due to poor mobility or simply for lack of company in different locations, by helping them get around and perform activities outside the home, helping more isolated people develop new activities outside the home with the company and support needed in place of or instead of the usual treatment and support at home, which it is not always enough in cases of social isolation.

Travwell aims to reinvent the classic first-aid kit, currently almost invisible and fallen into disuse, giving it a new guise in terms of attraction/visibility and usefulness. It aims to ensure that all travellers have a practical solution, one that is reliable and adapted to their specific destination by bringing together the basic features needed to protect their health and, consequently, ensure the tranquillity of their trip.

Understand Fado is a cultural dissemination project, which aims to meet the wishes of the majority of Lisbon’s visitors, interested in experiencing FADO. It consists of a live performance, comprising a line-up of about 10 fados, ranging from traditional to contemporary and including the classics, which are intercalated by a film about the origins, history and meaning of the Song of Lisbon.

WeTickit is a web and mobile-based platform, which aggregates and promotes cultural offerings via georeferencing and allows consumers to buy tickets until the last minute, at the cheapest prices.

This Programme is supported by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Solidarity PROGRESS (2007 - 2013). This programme is implemented by the European Commission and created to financially support the execution of the European Union's goals in the field of employment, social issues and equality of opportunities, thus contributing to achieve the goals of Estratégia Europa 2020 in these areas.
